Colts Win Super Bowl

By now you have probably heard the Colts are the new Super Bowl Champions. This came after a sloppy, yet interesting game played Sunday night against the Chicago Bears.

So, what did you do for Super Bowl Sunday?

Heather and I spent the game with at the Smith's house watching the big game surrounded by all of our Football crazed friends.

Not much has happened around our house so far this winter other than the usual. We have continued to work hard on getting our house fixed up the rest of the way and continue to work towards school. Heather has started her internship for teaching and is currently halfway through. She will be completly finised at UT this May and will finish at TSD in June. With any bit of luck she will be teaching come this fall either in a Knox County School or at TSD.

Work has been work. I am still with the Food Network scheduling all those wonderful commercials which you enjoy (right!)...

Well, not much else to tell. Hopefully I will remember to log in from home and submit some new pics. Best Wishes until we meet again and Congrats to the Indy Colts.

Update

It was recently brought to my attention that I have been a little behind in my post here, so I thought I would give a quick update on things.

Heather is doing well just busy with school and trying to keep me under control, which is no easy task. She is currently working on her internship at Bearden Elem. in their Deaf Ed program. She seems to like it although I think if being a teaching was this stressful every year I think she would be ready to retire in a fast 12 months. I am still working at Scripps and attending school full time which makes things nutty at our house.

Well, I know this isn't much but it's all I have time for right now. Heather and I may be attending the TN v. Alabama game this weekend and if so I will post pictures soon.

Later.

This July, Heather and myself took some friends up to the lake for a day of swimming, boating and tearing up the water on our "new to us" jetskis. The picture is of Kenny and Tracy Smith's middle son Boyett. Boyett loved to go fast and do donuts in the cove. I suppose the "doing donuts" is what threw us off a couple of times. The weather was perfect all day and everyone left wore completely out. Guess that's what 5 hours of JetSkis and swimming will do to you.
